You will work directly with students, providing guidance, support, and encouragement as they work through their individualized programs. Key Responsibilities

As a Day Academy Teacher with GradePower Learning, your primary responsibilities will include:


Working directly with students as an Interactive Coach, providing guidance and support as they work through their individualized programs
Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels, both in-person and online
Following GradePower Learning methodologies and philosophies to ensure consistency and quality across our programs
Filling in post-lesson notes and completing daily student communication updates to keep parents and guardians informed
Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times, with a focus on building strong relationships with students and families


Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for the Day Academy Teacher role, you will need to meet the following requirements and qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required)
Classroom or FLVS experience is preferred, but not required
Fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
Teaching certification is an asset, but not required
Good knowledge of the current curriculum for grades 1-12
Strong English written and oral communication skills, with the ability to guide students' understanding
Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
