Database Developer PL/SQL & Salesforce - Full remote - Contractor...
For an international organization in Valencia, Spain, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Database Developer with +4 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Salesforce data integration experience.
Candidates need to be willing to work normal office hours (8:00 to 16.30 CET) in Valencia. This positions is long-term.
Tasks and responsabilities:
Ā Collaborate with the project manager, business analyst and Salesforce team to analyze SES requirements;
Ā Design and implement new roll-up calculations in collaboration with the in-house backend team and the project manager;
Ā Integrate with Azure ADF pipelines to facilitate the extraction, movement, and loading of Salesforce data;
Ā Write UNIX/LINUX Korn shell scripts to schedule data processing and data loads;
Ā Enhance PL/SQL and TSQL procedures in Oracle and Azure SQL DB/Synapse respectively to maintain and enhance SES structures;
Ā Perform unit testing to ensure the salesforce data integration into UNICEF data warehouse;
Ā... Maintain existing SES instances that are already deployed on Oracle databases and the Azure cloud databases (Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Synapse);
Ā Write documentation to describe the process and to record production configuration including ER models, data models, and production procedures;
Ā Regularly monitor the data loads and tune performance as needed for the SES refresh database and reporting environment;
Profile:
Ā Bachelor or Master degree;
Ā +4 years or more hands-on experience in PL/SQL development on Oracle;
Ā +4 years or more hands-on experience in T-SQL development on Azure SQL;
Ā Expert knowledge of Salesforce and data integration in Oracle and Azure Synapse;
Ā Advanced knowledge of Oracle internals and database tuning including hands-on experience creating database schemas, tablespaces, and all other related DDL;
Ā Proven experience in UNIX/LINUX shell scripting;
Ā Knowledge of ETL with hands-on experience using ETL;
Ā Knowledge of cloud tools with experience using Microsoft Azure, preferably Azure ADF;
Ā Knowledge of sales cloud and marketing cloud, as well as Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) language;
Ā Experience with the complete systems development lifecycle process;
Ā Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
Ā Ability to write technical documentation (use cases, configuration instructions, and models) for both technical and non-technical audiences;
Ā Ability to work with a team as well as independently in an overall multi-cultural environment and gender sensitive work environment;
Ā Fluent in English;
