About Our Operations Network Our Operations workflow is a complex, multi-faceted process that involves three major components: First mile, Middle mile, and Last mile. From housing products ready for order to delivering them to customers' doors, we're committed to getting it right every time. As an Area Manager, you'll be instrumental in maintaining our high standards and ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements Leadership and Team Management: Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results. Safety and Quality: Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to meet business objectives. Collaboration: Work closely with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that drive success. Physical Demands: Lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. Adaptability: Work in an environment with variable noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions. Continuous Improvement: Continuously climb and descend stairs (where applicable) and be open to new challenges and opportunities. Essential and Preferred Qualifications We're looking for individuals with a passion for leadership and customer satisfaction. While prior experience is not necessary, you'll need: A strong willingness to learn and grow with our team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to lead and motivate a team. Basic knowledge of customer service principles. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred qualifications include: Previous leadership or management experience. Knowledge of Amazon's customer service standards. Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
