Database Administrator Remote, OR

We are is seeking a full-time Database Administrator to support DoD customer out of the DMV. This is an exempt remote opportunity. Responsibilities Performs all functional duties identified independently Design, create, and maintain databases in a client/server environment Operate desktop database tools, scripts or queries to process and validate extracted data Expert experience with Oracle 19c Perform AWS Redshift Data Warehouse and Oracle RDS DB administration Diagnose and resolve production data load issues in a large-scale AWS data warehouse Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems Establish and maintain data load and validation procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of data by the daily "data available" deadlines in a AWS Data Warehouse Coordinate changes to computer databases. Populate assigned databases with validated records from structured/semi-structured flat files/extracts and source databases Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases. Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or closely related field Minimum three (3) years' experience in database administration Must meet specific certification and training requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.1-M, DoDD 8570.1 (Certified within 6 months of assignment) Experience and Skills Excellent oral and written skills Excellent critical thinking skills Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and as a team member Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties Experience with data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives. Experience applying Structured Query Language (SQL), Non-Structured Query Language (NoSQL) Experienced with MSSQL, MySQL, Mongo, PostGRES, and Oracle Solutions Experience applying complex mathematical and statistical concepts #J-18808-Ljbffr ESR Healthcare Apply tot his job
