Role Title: Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer
Duration: 1 year contract to hire
Preferred Location: Remote
Role Description:
We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong hands-on experience in GenAI agent development and modern AI engineering. This role focuses on building production-grade agents, MCP integrations, and enterprise knowledge systems using our cloud and data stack.
ā¢ Build and refine GenAI agents that interact with internal systems
ā¢ Develop MCP tools and secure integrations
ā¢ Create and maintain knowledge bases and retrieval pipelines
ā¢ Implement agent evaluation frameworks and guardrails
ā¢ Work across Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks to support production AI systems
Requirements:
ā¢ 5+ years overall experience as a Data Scientist
ā¢ Experience building and deploying GenAI agents (including open-source LLM agents) in production environments
ā¢ Strong knowledge of MCP, tool integrations, and agent orchestration
ā¢ Ability to design and maintain knowledge bases, vector search, and retrieval systems
ā¢ Hands-on experience with vibe coding for rapid GenAI prototyping
ā¢ Cloud expertise in Azure (preferred) or AWS
ā¢ Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake
ā¢ Experience working with Databricks for data and ML workflows
ā¢ Solid background in traditional ML (classification, clustering, etc.)
ā¢ Ability to build evals, guardrails, and safety layers for agents at scale
ā¢ Experience with MLOps and LLM Observability
