About the position This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Scientist in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced data science techniques to solve high-impact business challenges. You will work across diverse projects, analyzing structured and unstructured datasets, designing predictive and prescriptive models, and delivering actionable insights that drive strategy and operational improvements. The position involves collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to implement data-driven solutions and improve decision-making across the organization. You will deploy machine learning and AI tools, support cloud-based analytics initiatives, and mentor team members to enhance data literacy. Success in this role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex results clearly to a variety of audiences. This is a fully remote position. Responsibilities • Lead data science initiatives by analyzing complex datasets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that inform business strategy • Design, develop, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and deep learning techniques • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project objectives, develop analytical approaches, and communicate results effectively • Extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources for analysis, modeling, and reporting • Apply supervised and unsupervised learning methods to structured and unstructured data • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on data science practices and improving data literacy across teams • Support cloud-based analytics initiatives and leverage tools like TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn, and NLP libraries Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or related field (Master’s preferred) • 5+ years of experience with data mining, machine learning, and large-scale dataset analysis • 5+ years of Python programming experience and familiarity with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Keras, or Torch • 3+ years of experience with NLP techniques and libraries • 2+ years of cloud computing experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and working knowledge of API endpoints • Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning methods including regression, clustering, bagging, boosting, and neural networks • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams Benefits • Competitive salary range of $99,200 – $165,300, depending on experience and location • Equity opportunities in the company (restricted stock units) and eligibility for short-term incentive compensation • Fully remote work environment with flexibility • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match and Employee Stock Purchase Plan • Paid time off, holiday pay, and paid volunteer time • Maternity, parental, and adoption leave programs • Educational assistance and continuous learning opportunities • Robust wellness program with financial incentives Apply tot his job
