Data Science Expert Part-Time | Remote | Hourly Contract | $60–$120 per hour About the Role A leading AI research group is engaging experienced Data Science professionals to support a series of high-impact projects. As an independent contractor, you will play a central role in improving advanced AI systems through code validation, prompt refinement, algorithmic evaluation, and model benchmarking. Key Responsibilities • Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code. • Validate algorithms and concepts for technical accuracy and soundness. • Provide structured feedback on solution clarity and quality. • Tag and organize datasets by topic, complexity, and domain. • Support benchmarking initiatives to assess AI model performance. Ideal Qualifications • 3 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics (industry or research). • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (Bachelor’s required; advanced degree preferred). • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with R, Java, or Scala is a plus. • Hands-on experience with ML model development and deployment using frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. • Skilled in statistical analysis, data wrangling, and feature engineering for large datasets.
