Data Science Intern - Summer
IQVIA seeks a Data Science Intern for summer 2026 to support data-driven insights and machine learning projects remotely from King of Prussia, PA.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
• Work with IQVIA Information Partner Services Data Science team to address business issues and opportunities from retail pharmacies using established methodologies and machine learning and statistical analysis tools
• Collaborate with Engagement Managers and other Data Scientists to identify and deliver business insights
• Support execution of data science projects and promote data-centric decision making
• Develop machine learning and statistical models following best practices for re-usability, stability, automation, and documentation including models’ assumptions
• Provide expertise in statistical and machine learning methodologies
• Support project execution under detailed to moderate supervision
About You
The company is looking for:
• Experience delivering insights using statistical, data mining, and machine learning concepts and algorithms with frameworks like Python or R
• Excellent presentation, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and exposure to visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI, SAS, or R/Python visualization packages
Compensation & Benefits
• Potential base pay range (annualized): $26,500.00 - $66,100.00
• Actual base pay varies based on qualifications, location, and schedule
• Incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered depending on position
• Range of health and welfare and/or other benefits
