About the position We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with a strong background in the mortgage and banking domain to join our team in New York City, NY (Hybrid Role). This position needs expertise in designing and building logical and physical data models on Azure, with a deep understanding of MISMO standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in data modeling, and must have completed at least two full implementation cycles from data model definition to rollout. The role requires hands-on experience in establishing physical models on cloud-based databases (Azure, SQL Server) and a strong understanding of Azure Fabric's 'One Lake' construct and related data modeling requirements. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and design/validate data models accordingly. Responsibilities • Design and build logical and physical data models on Azure. • Ensure compliance with MISMO standards. • Establish physical models on cloud-based databases (Azure, SQL Server). • Understand and implement Azure Fabric's 'One Lake' construct. • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders. • Translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Design and validate data models.
