What You'll Do: Your Role as a Data Entry Technician

As an integral member of our Legal Department, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our crucial databases. Your work will directly support government agencies in their mission to serve the public more efficiently. Here's what you can expect in this role:

Core Responsibilities


Database Maintenance: Systematically enter and update customer and account information, ensuring all records remain current, accurate, and readily accessible across the organization.

Data Procurement: Gather data through careful observation, comprehensive interviews, and thorough analysis of records and other source documents. Utilize various electronic equipment and systems to capture information efficiently.

Data Verification: Meticulously verify all entered data for accuracy and completeness. Prepare materials for PDF printing, ensuring professional documentation standards are maintained at all times.

Quality Control: Maintain strict data entry requirements by following established data program techniques and procedures. Implement best practices to minimize errors and maximize efficiency.

File Management: Regularly purge files to eliminate duplication of data, keeping our databases streamlined and optimized for quick retrieval.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure best practices are shared across the department, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications


Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field demonstrates your foundational knowledge in data management principles.

Professional Experience: Minimum 1 year of Data Entry Experience, showcasing your ability to handle the demands of this role effectively.

Technical Proficiency: 3+ years of Microsoft Office experience, particularly with spreadsheet applications and database software.

Typing Excellence: Superior typing skills with speed and accuracy—ideally 50+ words per minute with minimal errors.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact professionally with team members and stakeholders.
