About the Role As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for collecting, entering, and maintaining data in our corporate databases. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our information is accurate, complete, and easily accessible. You will work closely with our team to identify and correct data discrepancies, perform data research, and generate reports. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Management: Perform input of customer and account data from source documents, in text-based and numerical information form. Data Organization: Organize information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry. Data Research: Perform research for finding further information if needed. Data Quality Control: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output. Data Optimization: Use appropriate data solutions, techniques, and procedures to optimize data entry activities. Reporting and Backup: Prepare reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations. Document Management: Perform scanning and printing of documents. Information Access: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files. Data Security: Ensure adherence to corporate policies of data integrity and security and keep corporate information confidential. Equipment Management: Oversee the proper usage of office equipment and report any problems. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: 2+ years of experience: Working on a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk position. Solid administrative experience: Good practical experience with administrative duties as well as office equipment usage. MS Office proficiency: Good practical experience with MS Office and data management software. Language skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Attention to detail: Accuracy, high typing speed, and close attention to detail. Organizational skills: Strong organization skills, good responsibility, and confidentiality. Education: High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be a bonus.
