Key Responsibilities
Ā Accurately input electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions into our system.
Ā Manage communications with healthcare providers in a professional manner, including handling voicemails and calls.
Ā Resolve issues raised by various departments, including pharmacists and fellow technicians.
Ā Conduct all tasks in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Ā Undertake additional responsibilities as needed within the Pharmacy Technician capacity.
Required Skills
Ā Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a related role.
Ā Professional and courteous phone communication skills.
Ā Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ā Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
Ā Proficiency in basic pharmacy calculations.
Qualifications
Ā A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Ā Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory.
