As a Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for updating and maintaining information on our company databases and computer systems. You'll work closely with our data team and Data Manager to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of valuable company information. Key Responsibilities Data Entry: Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Data Compilation: Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry. Data Review: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output. Research: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents. Document Management: Scan documents and print files, when needed. Confidentiality: Keep information confidential and comply with data integrity and security policies. Queries: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files. Equipment Management: Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions. Essential Qualifications Proven Experience: Proven data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk. Technical Skills: Experience with MS Office and data programs, including familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms. Typing Skills: Fast typing speed and accuracy, with excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks. Education: High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset. Preferred Qualifications Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position.
