About College Possible: As one of the largest and most successful college access and success organizations in the country, since 2000 College Possible has empowered more than 85,700 students on their path to earning a college degree. Its pioneering model matches eligible students with a near-peer coach and an evidence-based curriculum designed to help them overcome the most common barriers to getting into college and completing their degree - all at no cost to students or their families. Compared with their peers from similar backgrounds, College Possible students are 30% more likely to enroll in college the year after high school graduation, and three times more likely to earn a bachelor's degree.

Our AmeriCorps members commit to a year of service as College Possible coaches in communities throughout the country. Our near-peer coaching model has earned national recognition: the inaugural Evergreen National Education Award recognized our leadership in increasing access to and success in college for students from low-income backgrounds. It also earns top-of-field results: a Harvard study found that the program more than doubles a student's chance of enrolling in a four-year college, and our students are four times more likely to become college graduates than their low-income peers. College Possible has an annual operating budget of ~$33.5 million, more than 190 full-time employees and more than 245 AmeriCorps and VISTA service members. During the 2021-2022 school year, we reached an estimated 25,700 students nationwide.

Your Role as Data Entry Associate
The Data Entry Associate is responsible for detailed entry of donor gifts and data into the donor database system through a variety of electronic tools and processes. Working with National and Site Development teams as well as National Finance and Information Technology teams as necessary, this position utilize various procedures, processes, and innovative technological tools. This position ensures the entry of donor gifts adhere to donor intent and entered in a timely, accurate manner.
Donor Processing: Ensure donations are entered accurately and timely into the donor database.
Fundraising lists and reports: Assist Development team on requests for lists and reports out of the donor database.
Other Duties as Assigned.
What You Bring
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
High School diploma required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Related Work Experience:
One year data entry experience required.
Experience supporting multi-site development, fundraising and administrative tasks preferred.
Computer/Software Skills:
Strong computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Donor database software experience strongly preferred.
Other Skills, Abilities and Requirements:
Significant commitment to the mission of helping low-income students earn admission to college and persist toward degree completion.
Must have a desire to engage in diversity, inclusion and/or equity work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Attention to detail, including proofreading and project follow-through.
Comfort with data collection, analysis, and a strong focus on results.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when needed
Office environment with limited travel
Ability to stand and/or sit for a minimum of 7 hours a day
