Job Summary

We're looking for a seasoned Product Data Analyst to lead our data analytics efforts and drive product optimization. As a Product Data Analyst at Workwarp, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to inform product decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to drive data-informed decision-making and optimize product performance.

Key Responsibilities:


Analyze A/B tests and experiments: Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and experiments to measure the effectiveness of product changes and optimize performance.
Provide data-driven insights: Provide recommendations on product enhancements based on data-driven insights and monitor the ROI of product initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering team: Work with the engineering team to improve data infrastructure, ensure data accuracy and completeness, and drive data quality.
Lead automation of recurring reports: Lead the automation of recurring reports and deep-dive analyses to provide ongoing visibility into product metrics.
Develop and maintain dashboards: Develop and maintain high-quality data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau and/or Looker.
Communicate insights: Present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using excellent communication and storytelling skills.


Essential Qualifications:


Bachelor's or Master's degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a data analysis role, with a strong focus on software products or technology.
Proficiency with product analytics tools: Proficiency with Amplitude and other product analytics tools.
Experience with NoSQL databases: Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases for querying and manipulating large datasets.
Strong experience with data visualization tools: Strong experience with Tableau and/or Looker for building and maintaining high-quality data visualizations and dashboards.
Analytical skills: Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and deliver actionable recommendations.
Automation skills: Experience automating data collection, reporting, and dashboard generation.
A/B testing methodologies: Experience with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis to measure product performance.
Communication skills: Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with Python or R: Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
Leadership experience: Experience in a lead or senior role, with a strong desire to shape the data analytics function from the ground up.
Experience with dashboarding tools: Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Tableau or Looker and ability to use them to create insightful visualizations.
Product analytics tools: Experience with product analytics tools, preferably Amplitude, but familiarity with similar tools like Pendo is also valuable.
