JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Data Analyst (Pricing Analyst) for a 6M C2H opportunity located in Dallas, TX 75251 (100% remote). The Data Analyst (Pricing Analyst) will search and extract data from large databases and analyze conflicting and incomplete data to reach analytically-based conclusions. The Data Analyst (Pricing Analyst) will continuously monitor retail and wholesale markets to ensure pricing is in line with market conditions. The Data Analyst (Pricing Analyst) will plan, direct, and coordinate all phases of our competitive intelligence infrastructure. The Data Analyst (Pricing Analyst) must possess strong analytical skills, including identifying potential implications and providing solutions and recommendations. The Data Analyst (Pricing Analyst) will solicit feedback from cross-functional stakeholders that can be translated into business requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate / Analyze / Report on Competitive Landscape to Understand Trends / Positioning / Regional Differences, etc.
• Build a Complete Picture of Competitor Strategies / Technologies / Marketing
• Manage 3 rd Party Vendor Relationships – Effectively Collect / Warehouse Competitive Intelligence Data
• Integration of New / Existing Data Feeds – Maintenance of Competitive Intelligence Data Marts
• Partner with Internal / External Groups – Provide Valuable Market Insights to the Largest Customers
• Prepare Automated / Planned / Ad-Hoc Analysis for Senior Leadership / Franchise Owner Consumption
• Analyze Competitive Landscape (Identifying Risk / Opportunity) – Develop Proactive Strategies Assisting in Mitigating Risk Exposure / Profit Potential
• Communicate Findings to Internal / External Stakeholders – Make Recommendations / Projections to Business Leadership / Stakeholders
About the Project : The Data Analyst (Pricing Analysis) is needed for a competitive Pricing Project. There is a new Data Set, fed from various Shop Management software programs from Retailers. The Data is unstructured and will require the use of Fuzzy Logic to aggregate it and move it into automation so that they can build reporting dashboards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Data Analyst – Search / Extract Data from Large Databases / Analyze Conflicting and Incomplete Data
• Analyze Data / Identify Implications – Provide Solutions / Recommendations to Stakeholders
• Gather Requirements / Feedback from Cross-Functional Stakeholders – Translate in Business Reqs / Specs
• Fuzzy Logic – Taking Unstructured Data to Aggregate / Automate for Reporting Dashboard Creation
• BI Tools / Platforms – PowerBI / Tableau / Alteryx, etc.
• Scripting Languages – SQL Scripting (hands-on / ground-up) / Python (preferred) / R (preferred)
• MS Office Suite (proficiency) – Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook, etc.
PREFERRED (not required)
• SAP / Oracle / JDE One Platform Experience (strongly preferred)
