Job Overview As a Data Analyst II, you'll be at the forefront of data analysis and insights, working closely with cross-functional teams across Walmart Digital Citizenship, Walmart Worldwide Tech, and our product teams. Your primary responsibility will be to research, gather, and analyze client data, transforming raw data into actionable insights. You'll be the driving force behind client-driven dashboards that capture key performance indicators, supporting our product teams in their strategic decision-making process. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover client behavior and trends, providing insights that inform product development and business strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that drive business outcomes. Work closely with data stewards and engineering teams to aggregate and process data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity. Develop and maintain complex data models, leveraging tools like Google BigQuery, Hive, and cloud-based platforms. Apply statistical knowledge and machine learning concepts to drive business insights and recommendations. Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders, influencing business decisions and outcomes. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and insights. Proficiency in data manipulation languages, such as SQL, Python, and Presto. Experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the retail or financial services industry. Familiarity with data quality tools, such as Google DataPlex, Collibra Data Quality, or SAS Data Management. Knowledge of ETL job development and workflow scheduling systems. Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Google BigQuery and Hive. Understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts, with experience in model development.
