Data Analyst - Financial Master Data

Labcorp is seeking a Data Analyst - Financial Master Data to join our team in Durham, NC! Work Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. This position offers a hybrid work model. Job Responsibilities: As a Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst at Labcorp, you will be the guardian of financial master data across Oracle Fusion Cloud and legacy systems. Your work ensures data integrity, consistency, and accuracy, enabling seamless financial operations and informed business decisions. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize data processes, and contribute to global system enhancements. No deep technical background is required— just strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and a willingness to learn our systems. Chart of Accounts (COA) Maintenance • Support updates and maintenance of COA structures in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Assist in validating COA changes against financial reporting requirements. Participate in testing and validation of COA updates during system upgrades and patch deployments. Customer Data Management • Process and validate customer data updates in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Ensure timely and accurate entry of customer records, hierarchies, and attributes. Collaborate with business units to resolve data discrepancies and ensure alignment with business rules. Legacy System Support • Maintain master data in legacy ERP systems. Ensure accurate mapping between legacy systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud. Participate in data migration and reconciliation efforts during system upgrades or transitions Data Quality & Governance • Perform regular audits to identify and correct data quality issues. Support data governance initiatives and adhere to data management policies. Document data processes and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or information Systems • 1 or more years of experience in ERP systems data management • 1 or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications: • 1 or more years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud • 1 or more years of experience with data mapping and reconciliation • 1 or more years of experience with Chart of Accounts (COA) Additional Job Standards • Basic understanding of financial structures • Knowledge of legacy ERP systems (Hyperion HFM, Peoplesoft) • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools • Exposure to data governance frameworks • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Labcorp is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, committed to advancing health and improving lives. Pay Range: $55k-$75k annually (USD) All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
