Data Analyst – 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Overview:
Element is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term contract, supporting our certification business at Warringtonfire. In this role, you will contribute to the development of both existing and new certification schemes by leveraging internal and publicly available data. You will play a key role in driving data-led decision making, identifying trends, and improving business performance through advanced data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand analytics needs, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insightsAnalyse complex datasets to answer key business questions and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivityDevelop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations using data from multiple sourcesDesign and implement scalable data acquisition and integration processesBuild and maintain databases and develop scripts to enable flexible data evaluationSource and manage data from primary and secondary sourcesProvide forecasting, capacity planning, and operational metrics to support business growth and planning

Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical roleStrong ability to analyse complex datasets and identify trends and growth opportunitiesExperience using data to support Business as Usual (BAU) operations and strategic decision makingStrong analytical skills including data mining, evaluation, and visualisationProficiency in SQL and Excel, with the ability to learn additional analytics toolsExperience designing databases and analytical models, including segmentation techniquesPractical experience with statistical analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, or SASProgramming experience with relevant analytical frameworksBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related fieldStrong collaboration skills with experience working in team-oriented environmentsKnowledge of the TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) industry is advantageousWorking from home contract Benefits of working at Element 33 days annual holiday, consisting of 25 days annual holiday and 8 days public / x4 Life Assurance / Legal & General Pension scheme with total contributions up to 12% / Flexible Working / Cycle Scheme / Free Onsite Refreshments / Recommend a Friend Bonus / Perks At Work Discount Scheme For more information on Element's BUILT division, please take a look at our e-brochure: https://indd.adobe.com/view/7032c5bd-3645-4c48-86d4-b568d53de400 #LI-DG1To apply please email [email protected]
