Cybersecurity/Data Privacy Incident Response Attorneys (Remote Engagement)

Latitude is seeking experienced Cyber Incident Response Attorneys for a remote engagement with a dynamic mid-sized cybersecurity firm to assist clients in the diverse and quickly evolving field of data privacy and information security liability. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a niche law firm focused exclusively on counseling organizations in the context of data privacy, including incident response, regulatory investigation, single-plaintiff and class action litigation compliance. Interested candidates should have 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience.Exceptional analytical, written, communication, and preparation skills are a must, plus a focused attention to detail. Candidates can be licensed to practice and in good standing in their state of residence. This is a fully remote position. Requirements for the Cyber Incident Response Attorney: • 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience • Licensed to practice in any U.S. state • J.D. from an accredited law school • Exceptional analytical, written, communication, and preparation skills, plus focused attention to detail are key to performing well in this highly responsive environment • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills Position Details of the Cyber Incident Response Attorney: • Type ofRole: Engagement • Schedule: Part-time • Location: FullyRemoteCompensation • Pay:The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate's preference (each candidate's pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate's competitiveness for the position). • Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance.A qualified 401K plan is also available.
