At PayPal, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Policy & Strategy Intern to join our Information Security team and support our mission to create a secure digital payment platform. The ideal candidate for this role should have a solid understanding of the principles of cybersecurity and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with stakeholders.The Cybersecurity Policy & Strategy Intern will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of strategic security policies and procedures. They will also have the opportunity to participate in research projects and provide analysis to inform security initiatives.The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. They should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and possess a passion for cybersecurity and technology. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic security policies and procedures.
Participate in research projects to inform security initiatives.
Analyze and assess security risks.
Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures.
Provide recommendations to enhance security policies and procedures.
Assist with the design of security solutions.
Provide technical support to stakeholders.
Troubleshoot security-related issues.
Ensure system and network security.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on emerging security threats.
