Customer Success Spec II
Position Summary:
• Provide technical sales support for AMR/AMI projects.• Support includes pre-sale presentations, assistance during deployment of infrastructure andsystem implementation, and Tier 2 level support during post-deployment contract period.• Coordinate efforts with system deployment, customer support, sales, distributors, third partycontractors, engineering, and operations to successfully support AMR/AMI systems.• Must comply with technical requirements and meet customer expectations.
Travel required.
Objectives:1. Pre-sale support to sales team. Assist sales team by providing technical support at customerpresentations and planning meetings. Provide technical review of RFP/Bid specifications andassist with proposal development.2. Assist system deployment team as necessary with site surveys and frequency analysis studies toensure suitability of proposed collector locations and available frequencies. Supportidentification of alternate locations and frequencies if necessary.3. Conduct and support on-site system configuration, customer implementation and training asnecessary. Provide Tier 2 level of technical support to customers and customer support.4. Support marketing as required including RFP responses, documentation/manuals andpresentations.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Science degree (Management Information Systems degree or similartechnical field preferred)
Experience: 2+ years’ experience supporting AMR/AMI systems
Special Training: Software implementations background a plus
Sales Territory: Northeast Region. Typically requires overnight travel 50% of the time
