• Our client from Quincy, MA is a health insurance program run by the state that provides health benefits and helps pay for them to qualify children, families, seniors, and people with disabilities living in Massachusetts.
• As the Commonwealth’s Medicaid program, it aims to offer benefits directly or help pay for all or part of its members’ health insurance premiums.
• They are searching for a Customer Service/Data Entry Representative that will handle the reviewing, evaluating, and determining of an applicant’s eligibility for medical assistance under the company’s policy and procedures.
Customer Service/Data Entry Representative Responsibilities:
• Reconciling MHO case information with information from other agencies and sources to verify continued eligibility for benefits
• Obtaining and validating demographic and financial information that are listed and not listed on eligibility forms, contact collateral sources of information, and determining the immigrant status
• Responding to member inquiries to provide information regarding the eligibility requirements
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness with eligibility forms submitted by the people requesting benefits
Customer Service/Data Entry Representative Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of related customer service experience
• Polished phone etiquette and good verbal communication skills
• Previous experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
