Key Responsibilities Include:

Taking inbound calls from members who need assistance understanding their pharmacy benefit plans, prescription coverage, and insurance options
Answering questions regarding prescription insurance coverage, including copays, deductibles, formulary tiers, and prior authorization requirements
Explaining mail order prescription services and guiding members through the process of setting up home delivery for their medications
Resolving member inquiries on the first call whenever possible, ensuring customers leave feeling satisfied and informed
Offering solutions that simplify the healthcare experience and help members make informed decisions about their prescription options
Documenting call details accurately in our customer relationship management system to maintain comprehensive member records
Escalating complex issues to appropriate team leads or supervisors when necessary while ensuring a seamless handoff
Maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and all governmental requirements regarding patient information privacy
Participating in ongoing training to stay current on policy changes, new medications, and evolving industry regulations
Meeting performance metrics related to call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, and first-call resolution rates
