You will report to our Denton location approximately two days per month, with the flexibility to work from home for up to 90% of your scheduled hours upon supervisor approval. Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers through phone, electronic, and in-person interactions regarding payments, inquiries, and service requests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:


Phone and Electronic Support: Handle high volumes of phone traffic for various departments throughout the organization. Respond to customer inquiries via electronic channels with the same level of care and attention as face-to-face interactions.

Face-to-Face Assistance: Provide in-person support to customers visiting our offices. Assist with account questions, payment processing, and service-related inquiries in a welcoming and professional manner.

Payment Processing: Process drop box payments, post payments accurately to customer accounts, and handle incoming and outgoing mail. Ensure all transactions are recorded properly and receipts are provided to customers.

Account Management: Process utility account connects, disconnects, and transfers. Handle billing inquiries, rate calculations, payment arrangements, and account updates with accuracy and efficiency.

Cash Handling: Receive, maintain, and account for utility payments. Balance cash drawers daily, prepare daily bank deposits, and ensure strict compliance with arenaflex's internal cash handling policies and procedures.

Commercial Account Services: Process commercial account set-ups and validate Tax IDs. Explain available solid waste services, calculate associated costs, and complete service contracts.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and files. Process water leak adjustment requests, log and file documentation, and generate reports as needed.

Team Support: Assist peers with questions, errors, and escalated customer issues. Serve as a backup to Customer Service Representative II in their absence.

Project Assistance: Support various projects and back-office assignments as needed to ensure smooth operations across departments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other software systems used for completing work tasks

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
One (1) year of customer service experience
Six (6) months of cash handling experience


Preferred Qualifications:

Conditions of Employment

Please note the following requirements for this position:

Must possess and maintain a valid Class "C" Driver's License and state-required minimum automobile liability insurance prior to employment
Must obtain Texas Class "C" driver's license and required insurance within 90 days of hire per state law
Must pass a drug test, driver's license check, criminal history background check, and social security number verification
Must be able to work published hours of operation, which may include occasional evening or weekend hours
Regular and punctual attendance is required
