Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a remote basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers via phone, email, and social media. You'll be responsible for resolving customer complaints, answering questions, and providing product information in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities:


Respond to Customer Inquiries: Answer toll-free customer service calls, emails, and letters in a timely and professional manner.
Resolve Customer Complaints: Resolve standard customer complaints and issues in an objective and timely manner, using problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Document Customer Information: Document customer and store information into our call tracking system.
Promote a Positive Company Image: Provide support for monitoring Facebook and Twitter to respond to customer comments and questions.
Compose Personal Replies: Compose personal replies to customer letters and/or emails.
Update Customer Addresses: Update customer addresses for the Loyalty Program and adjust reward points as needed.
Make Sound Judgment Calls: Make sound judgment calls that align with our brand, escalation, and customer service policies for social media customer-related issues.
Multi-Task in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and moderate a high volume of inbound content.


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:


1-3 Years of Retail Customer Service Experience: 1-3 years of retail customer service or call center experience with proven conflict management skills.
Flexible Mindset: Flexible mindset, oriented towards conflict resolution.
Strong Listening Skills: Strong listening skills.
Ability to Prioritize Work: Ability to prioritize work.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PC Knowledge: PC knowledge.
Typing Skills: Typing skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with Customer Service Software: Experience with customer service software and technology.
Knowledge of Outdoor Industry: Knowledge of the outdoor industry or retail experience.
