About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As the primary point of contact for patients' billing inquiries, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, resolving patient concerns, and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding issues. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of patient calls while maintaining quality customer service and patient satisfaction Follow up on unresolved issues and ensure timely resolution Perform other related customer service duties as assigned Answer patient calls within call center metric objectives Maintain HIPAA compliance guidelines and adhere to work schedule and call center phone procedures Uphold professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess: A High School degree or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in a medical customer service role (previous call center experience a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Previous experience with medical billing systems (GE Centricity or EPIC experience preferred) Preferred Skills and Competencies We're looking for individuals with: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Compassion and empathy in dealing with patients' sensitive and confidential issues Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and quality standards Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Conifer Health, we're committed to your professional growth and development.
