About the Role: Patient Registration Customer Service Representative We're seeking a compassionate and tech-savvy Customer Service Representative to join our Patient Registration team at blithequark. As the first point of contact for patients checking into the hospital, you'll play a vital role in setting the tone for their care journey. Your ability to multitask, empathize with patients, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will make a significant difference in their experience. Key Responsibilities: Work on multiple computer screens and answer phones to intake patient information accurately and efficiently. Build trust with patients by listening attentively to their concerns, asking follow-up questions, and providing compassionate care. Navigate multiple programs and software applications to collect and input patient data correctly. Work effectively in a dynamic environment where clinicians may interrupt the registration process for emergent clinical care. Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in responding to varied patient needs and unexpected situations. Collaborate with your team to ensure seamless patient registration and care coordination. Requirements and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or GED. Excellent customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support. The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of productivity. Strong typing skills and proficiency in working with multiple software applications. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. While prior experience in healthcare is not required, you'll need to be comfortable working in a hospital/lab environment and be prepared to encounter illness and injuries.
