Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your duties will be multifaceted, requiring a unique blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal abilities. Your key responsibilities will include: Handling incoming and outgoing calls with members, caregivers, doctors, and other outside providers to address documentation and account needs. Reviewing documentation for completion and insurance compliance, and accurately entering this information into member accounts. Conducting thorough reviews of patient accounts and records to ensure timely and effective patient service. Communicating professionally with Team Supports and Management for matters requiring approval or escalation. Utilizing the Customer Service Wiki to maintain a strong knowledge base of processes, procedures, insurance guidelines, products, and company information. Making suggestions for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will need to possess certain essential qualifications and skills, including: A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. The ability to multitask and utilize multiple computer applications to access and enter data in member accounts. A commitment to conducting yourself in a HIPAA compliant and ethical manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review documentation and patient accounts accurately. While not mandatory, the following preferred qualifications and experiences will be considered advantageous: 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks at various stages of completion. Previous experience requiring clear and calm communication by phone. Experience using computer systems and maintaining good records. As a Customer Service Representative, you can expect: A full-time position with a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, based in our Mishawaka office.
