Customer Service Representative - Life & Health (Remote)
The Customer Service Representative answers questions and resolves problems initiated by insureds and carriers via telephone, mail, and e-mail. Most questions concern coverage, claims, cost, or billing and may require research or referral to resolve. Significantly contributes to business retention efforts.
Your Impact:
ā¢ Provide excellent customer service via phone to clients.
ā¢ Maintain accurate customer service history notes regarding clients calls, changes to benefits, policies, etc., to allow efficient handling of future calls.
ā¢ Assist with processing client requests received via mail, fax, and email.
ā¢ Update and maintain customer records in the administration system.
ā¢ Process and analyze new business transactions, policy transactions, and correct company records to adjust errors.
ā¢ Mail specified forms and route completed forms for processing.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
ā¢ High School diploma or General Education degree (GED).
ā¢ 1-2 years of relevant customer service and/or call center experience.
ā¢ Previous experience working within the insurance, healthcare, or similar industry is highly desired.
ā¢ Proficient PC user skills with various computer software programs including ā MS Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
ā¢ Bilingual ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking customers is desired but not required.

Pay Range:
$17.50 - $17.50 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
