Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Defense Attorney to join our legal team remotely. On-site is available. The ideal candidate will have experience in workers compensation law and a strong background in defending claims. This position aims to provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Provide legal representation to clients in workers compensation defense cases.
ā¢ Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to workers compensation claims.
ā¢ Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
ā¢ Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary to represent clients.
ā¢ Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to workers compensation matters.
ā¢ Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
ā¢ Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and case law affecting workers compensation defense.
Qualifications
ā¢ Jurisdictional license to practice law as an attorney.
ā¢ Proven experience in workers compensation law and defense.
ā¢ Strong analytical and research skills.
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload.
