Role Overview: Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaxflex, you will be the primary point of contact for shoppers, ensuring each visit is welcoming, efficient, and safe. Your responsibilities will blend front‑of‑store hospitality, operational support, and teamwork to keep the store well‑stocked, organized, and financially smooth.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Greet every guest with a friendly smile, answer product‑related questions, and help shoppers locate items quickly.
Transaction Management: Accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments using the Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system, ensuring proper handling of funds.
Merchandise Handling: Unload deliveries from trucks, transport goods from the stockroom to the sales floor, and organize shelves for optimal presentation.
Inventory Maintenance: Stock shelves independently, replenish low‑stock items, and perform regular floor checks to keep the store tidy and inviting.
Safety & Security: Monitor customer activity, report suspicious behavior, and maintain a safe shopping environment for both guests and team members.
Team Collaboration: Assist colleagues with special projects, support peak‑hour staffing needs, and contribute ideas for improving store operations.
Store Upkeep: Participate in routine cleaning, waste management, and visual merchandising standards to uphold arenaflex’s brand image.
Adaptability: Perform additional duties as assigned, ranging from opening/closing procedures to inventory cycle counts.


Essential Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; a demonstrated ability to follow written directives and interpret retail policies is essential.
Experience: Prior experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, grocery, or drug‑store settings is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 40 lb regularly (occasionally up to 55 lb), and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout each shift.
Availability: Flexible schedule with the willingness to work full‑time, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Core Skills: Strong customer focus, excellent communication, problem‑solving aptitude, and the ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
