You'll be responsible for making outbound and receiving inbound calls, reviewing accounts daily, updating account information through our collections system, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws regarding collection policies and procedures. **Key Responsibilities** • Make outbound and receive inbound calls to borrowers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving federal debt issues • Review accounts daily to identify opportunities for resolution and update account information through our collections system • Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws regarding collection policies and procedures • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex cases and drive results • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge **Essential Qualifications** • High School Diploma or equivalent • All candidates are required to pass a background check, credit screen, and drug test • Federal student loans must be in good standing • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collections software **Preferred Qualifications** • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, collections, or a related field • Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding collection policies and procedures • Experience with collections software and systems • Bilingual or multilingual skills **Skills and Competencies** • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collections software • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to investing in our employees' growth and development.
