Your primary responsibilities will include: * Entering and reviewing orders through manual data entry and/or system-generated uploads * Providing accurate quotes for simple fixture, lamp, and ballast requests * Communicating lead times, tracking updates, and order details to sales reps, distributors, and manufacturers * Delivering excellent customer service – digitally and by phone – by responding to inquiries and providing timely updates * Maintaining organized job files and monitoring quote request activity * Collaborating with sales team members to ensure customer needs are met and expectations aligned * Performing general administrative tasks as needed This role is crucial to ensuring our customer interactions are responsive, accurate, and solution-focused. Together with our sister company Environments, an IoT integration company, we create beautiful, functional environments where humans and technology work in harmony. **Requirements** To be considered for this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * At least 2 years of experience in customer service, quotations, and/or administrative duties within the lighting industry * Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software * The ability to work independently, prioritize simultaneous assignments with accuracy and efficiency **Bonus Points** If you have prior experience in the lighting industry (sales rep, manufacturer, or distributor), you'll receive bonus points for your application. **Compensation** This regular part-time position is classified as hourly, non-exempt.
