Customer Education, Learning Experience & Curriculum Lead

Remote Full-time
About The Team

OpenAI is building tools that enable people across an organization to create software, automate work, and build new capabilities with AI. To make that real at scale, we need AI native education that helps people develop durable skills, not just watch content. In Customer Education, we design learning experiences and certifications that accelerate adoption and unlock new builders inside enterprise customers.

As the Learning Experience and Curriculum Lead, you will build learning pathways for the AI workforce. You will design learning experiences, write curriculum, define assessments. You will leverage AI throughout the work. That includes using models to draft and QA course content, generate practice scenarios and code examples, and help keep materials current when products evolve. The outcome is an education program that is higher quality, faster to produce, and easier to keep consistent.

You will partner closely with Customer Education, Product, and Technical Success to ensure we teach skills that matter, show measurable outcomes, and support AI enablement at scale.

About The Role

You will own strategy and execution for enterprise learning pathways and curriculum. You will create coherent learning experiences from fundamentals to real skill application, aligned to key customer outcomes, and supported by simple instruments like quizzes, skill checks, project rubrics, and badging.

This role is a blend of instructional design, content writing, and AI powered education operations. You will build the connective tissue between learning science, course production, and customer impact.

In This Role, You Will
• Write and edit curriculum: learning objectives, lesson outlines, scripts, assessments, and guidance for hands-on exercises and projects.
• Build certification and credential structure: badges, progression, and criteria that represent meaningful skill development.
• Create standards and operating guidelines for course production: templates, style guides, QA checklists, and update cadence.
• Use AI to accelerate course development and maintenance: generate drafts, test cases, examples, and QA checks.
• Design learning analytics to measure success: completion, assessment results, practice performance, and downstream behavior change.
• Work cross functionally to ensure learning experiences stay aligned with product updates, customer needs, and field feedback.

You May Be a Good Fit If You
• Have experience designing and shipping learning programs at scale for technical products.
• Are a strong writer who can explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Know how organizations adopt new capabilities across technical and non technical roles.
• Build systems and programs that are modular, repeatable, and maintainable.
• Use data to improve the learning experience and focus on outcomes.
• Enjoy working with OpenAI tools and experimenting with new ways to build education.
• Are passionate about AI literacy and empowering the workforce with AI

Nice To Have
• Experience supporting enterprise customers through technology adoption.
• Experience with learning platforms and course operations, including learning analytics and credentialing.
• Experience working with AI and technical training content.
