About the Opportunity As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our potential customers. This critical role involves providing outstanding customer service via our web-based phone system, collecting accurate traveler information, and connecting them with the best-suited Independent Travel Agent (IA) to book their vacation. You'll be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, generating leads, and building positive relationships with potential customers and IAs. Key Responsibilities: Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing prompt and professional assistance to potential travel customers. Follow team scripts to leave voice messages and follow up with travel leads accordingly. Accurately document customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries in our CRM system. Successfully transfer travel leads to the appropriate IAs, connecting potential travelers with their dream vacations. Build and maintain positive relationships with potential customers and IAs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Assist with other tasks and special projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 1-year experience working in a high-volume call center environment, providing outstanding customer service. A High School Diploma or equivalent. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Previous experience in a high-volume call center, preferably in the travel industry or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely. A strong customer service orientation, with the ability to actively listen, empathize, and respond to customer needs effectively. The capacity to handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software applications. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing customer demands and business requirements. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge. A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical behavior when dealing with customers and their personal information.
