Job Title: SAP PP Consultant Location: Detroit, MI (100% Onsite) Job Type: Contract (6–12 Months, Extendable) Automotive Domain is highly desired Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to support our client's ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation and production optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SAP PP configuration, integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, WM), and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: • Gather business requirements and design SAP PP solutions aligned with production planning processes • Configure and customize SAP PP module including MRP, BOM, Work Centers, Routing, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control • Work closely with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, QM, WM, FI/CO) to ensure seamless integration • Perform system testing, end-user training, and support during cutover and go-live phases • Troubleshoot issues and provide daily support for SAP PP operations • Create and maintain documentation for configuration, test cases, and end-user training • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production planning and manufacturing execution Must-Have Skills: • Overall SAP Experience: 10-13+ Years • 7-10+ years of SAP PP implementation and support experience • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA PP module • Hands-on experience in MRP, Master Data (Material, BOM, Routing), Production Orders, and Capacity Planning • Familiarity with discrete, repetitive, or process manufacturing environments • Experience with interfaces/integration to MES or other shop floor systems • Excellent communication, documentation, and client interaction skills • Ability to work 100% onsite in Detroit, MI Nice to Have: • Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation • Exposure to SAP QM, WM, or APO/IBP • Automotive or heavy manufacturing domain knowledge • SAP certifications in PP or S/4HANA modules Apply tot his job
