CTO / Head of Engineering -- Part-Time to Full-Time
Location: United States (Required) Employment Type: W-2 Employee (Part-Time to Start) Compensation: Salary + Performance Bonuses + Potential Equity Tech Stack: Java, Angular, Spring, AWS, Kubernetes, AI/ML, e-signature workflow systems About BIPPO BIPPO is a real estate technology platform transforming how residential real estate transactions are completed through automation and AI-driven guidance. The core product is already built, and we’re now completing backend modernization and a new UI while expanding intelligent workflow systems. What We’re Looking For A hands-on CTO / Engineering Leader who can lead people, drive development, and manage both in-house and outsourced resources. This role begins part-time and transitions to full-time as scaling continues. Responsibilities • Lead technology direction, architecture, and execution • Manage and mentor engineering talent and coordinate outsourced teams • Oversee AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure, deployments, and security • Direct backend enhancements and Angular UI rebuild • Implement and guide AI-based features and workflow intelligence • Convert product requirements into clear delivery milestones • Work directly with the founder to shape product evolution Requirements • Must reside in the U.S. and work as a W-2 employee • Proven engineering leadership (CTO, VP Eng, Director, or similar) • Expert in Java, Spring, Angular, AWS, Kubernetes • Experience integrating AI and prompt engineering • Experience with e-signature systems and workflow automation • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide non-technical leadership • Startup mindset — accountable, resourceful, and execution-focused Compensation • Paid part-time to start • Performance-based bonuses • Path to full-time CTO with potential equity Why Work Here?
