Cruise Ship Field Service Technician
If you're a hands-on maintainer who thrives working independently and wants to see the world while you work, this role is built for you. You'll service and repair water treatment systems on cruise ships at ports across the globe — from Alaska to Australia to the Mediterranean. No micromanagement, real responsibility, and a company credit card with travel points that are yours to keep.What You'll Do:Perform on-site installation, preventative maintenance, service, and repair of potable and non-potable water treatment systems aboard cruise shipsConduct pre-installation site surveys with minimal supervisionPerform chemistry and pH analysis on water treatment systems at ports worldwideTrain on-board ship staff on proper equipment operationReport to the Fort Lauderdale shop when not traveling for bench maintenance and related dutiesRequirementsStrong mechanical maintenance skills with hands-on tool proficiencyAbility to work independently and manage your time without being micro-managedPassport-eligible (must be able to obtain a valid U.S. passport)Availability to travel 8–14 days per month, with increased travel May–SeptemberBenefitsMedical401 with 1 to 1 match up to the first 3%Daily Per Diem when traveling, amount based on portCompany credit where you redeem points
