Come talk to us about joining the Centerstone team!JOB DESCRIPTION:Shift: 11:30pm-7:30am Thursday- Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday OFF)This is a remote position, however, the ideal candidate would reside in TennesseeSUMMARY OF POSITIONThis position is part of a 24/7/365 high volume, suicide prevention focused call team. Our department has been featured in a Time Magazine article detailing our team's efforts toward suicide prevention. As a part of this team, you'd be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. This is an excellent position for recent graduates interested in providing support and demonstrating compassion toward others while being a part of a dynamic team of crisis care consultants.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDemonstrate high level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing telephonic clinical screenings, risk assessments, means restriction, and crisis intervention to callers.Conduct outreach calls to individuals assessed by mobile crisis to promote safetyMeet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation.Attend team meetings, in-service training, supervision, and other quality assurance training.Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette.Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources.Promote a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large.Assist in administrative tasks as needed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESEffectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.Demonstrates knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources.QUALIFICATIONSEducation LevelBachelor's degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work, required or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist required.ExperienceOne year preferred.Certification/LicensureN/APHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStanding - 20%Sitting - 80%Squatting - Occasional Kneeling - Occasional Bending - Occasional Driving - Occasional Lifting - Occasional DISCLAIMERThe duties and responsibilities described in this document are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time, or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.Time Type:Full timePay Range:$16.50--$23.10Delivering care that changes people's lives starts with our employees.
