About the position Responsibilities • Build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with federal clients. • Act as a point of contact for the client in the absence of the Project Director. • Identify needs of target audiences and provide high-quality, effective products and services. • Ensure quality control for all project deliverables, including oversight of research and evaluation efforts. • Promote the project to the public and federal partners through outreach efforts. • Provide oversight for the delivery of training and technical assistance based on evidence-based practices. • Lead a geographically dispersed team and oversee multi-faceted training and technical assistance work. • Manage a multi-million-dollar project budget and provide responsible stewardship for project resources. • Establish and cultivate partnerships vital to project success. • Research evidence-based approaches and develop publications to improve policies and practices. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, administration, public policy, or related area from an accredited institution. • Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience in managing criminal justice programs. • Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising staff and consultants in a federal environment for a large-scale national TTA center. • US citizenship required by federal government contract. Nice-to-haves • Master's degree in criminal justice, administration, public policy, or related area from an accredited institution is preferred. • Knowledge of criminal justice social science research and evidence-based programs and practices. • Exceptional project management skills with a focus on TTA project management. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
