Credit Analyst - 9-month Fixed-Term

They are seeking a Credit Analyst to analyze credit submissions and provide approvals for loans and leases, while also assisting in the development of training processes for equipment loans and leases.ResponsibilitiesConducts random audits. Ensures appropriate action is taken in regard to results, i.e.: documentation, follow up, and reportingMaintains regular contact and a reciprocal relationship on behalf of the CTG with various outside agencies and related offices (e.g.: Law Firms, Brokers, other Credit Unions etc)Effectively communicates credit decisions to applicable staff in a clear, concise and respectful mannerProvides timely and accurate application ajuducation as detailed in the SLALending limits up to $250,000.00 dependant on experience level and aptitudeSkillsMinimum 1 – 3 Years of Job-Related ExperienceHigh School Diploma plus completion of a Certificate Program (equivalent to one full year or 10 courses)Successful completion of all in-house commercial /equipment Lending courses, or equivalent work experienceExpert understanding of the Loans Origination SystemProficient knowledge of PC's; including a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelWorking knowledge of presentation equipment and softwareExpert understanding of Compass Application SystemAdvanced financial services backgroundExpert knowledge of all aspects and functions of CTG lease/ lending products, polices and proceduresAdvanced knowledge of risk management as it relates to credit underwritingExpert interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formWillingness to work on a team in a busy, ever changing, and occasionally stressful environmentAdvanced organizational and time management abilitiesBenefitsComprehensive, customizable benefits for you and your familyDefined contribution or defined benefit pension plan or RSP’sMortgage and auto financing benefitsReal RecognitionAn award winning cultureEmployee volunteer programCompany OverviewCoast Capital Savings is a company that specializes in online banking services for individuals and businesses.
