POS-29247HubSpot is looking for a Counsel to join the Commercial Legal Team to provide a key support role to our EMEA-based Sales Teams. In this role, you’ll get to:Provide first-line client-centric legal support to our EMEA Sales teams on commercial and legal issues.Review and negotiate commercial agreements, which may include SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, master services agreements, and statements of work.Work with other various business teams on a variety of legal processes as needed.Partner closely with Sales stakeholders to understand the business objectives and hurdles, and drive strategic improvements.Collaborate with other legal and compliance practice groups to accelerate and unlock growth for HubSpot with a customer-centric mindset.We are looking for people who: Are qualified to practice law in France or have another reciprocal EU qualification.Have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant in-house legal experience.Native or fluent French speakerHave significant experience reviewing commercial contracts and feel comfortable running an independent negotiation process (Enterprise SaaS experience a plus) in France, Benelux and the Nordics.Have excellent legal drafting skills.Have a strong foundation in data protection and EU privacy law.
