As a Costume Support Manager for the Disney Cruise Line, you will play a vital role in supporting the costume management team and contributing to the success of our entertainment experiences at sea.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Planning and Reporting: Support strategic planning for the Disney Parks Live Entertainment Costuming team through report development and data analytics, utilizing tools like Tableau and SSRS.
Data Management: Design, create, and lead MSSQL tables to support data and reporting needs, ensuring data verification and complex data analysis.
SQL Server Tasks: Lead Costuming SQL server tasks, including creating user accounts and assigning security levels.
Analytical Tools and Metrics: Develop analytical tools and metrics to assist in complex operational decision-making and support business requests in a fast-paced environment.
Process Improvement: Conduct process improvement evaluations and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Report Requests: Lead and prioritize report requests from multiple areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.


Essential Qualifications and Skills


Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or analytics, with a proven track record of success.
Shipping Logistics: Experience with shipping logistics and manifests.
Business Process Analysis: Experience analyzing business processes, making sound business judgments, and solving problems.
Decision-Making: Experience making decisions with minimal direction on sophisticated multi-team efforts.
Communication: Excellent prioritization skills, attention to detail, and experience communicating and providing feedback (verbal and written) with all levels of partners.
Collaboration: Experience gaining consensus in a way that all parties feel heard and contributing to a positive work environment.
Analytics Tools: Experience with analytics tools and other key functional systems.
Flexibility: Ability to travel between work locations on a given day, work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays, and travel internationally up to 10% of the time.
Work Environment: Ability to work around all types of fabrics, fibers, and synthetic furs.


Preferred Qualifications


Cruise Ship Industry Experience: Experience working in the cruise ship industry.
Costuming Software: Experience using Costuming Operating Management Inventory Tool (COMIT), Yunique, SAP, and JIRA or equivalent programming and database languages.
Reporting Tools: Experience using reporting tools like Garment Utilization System (GUS+).
Garment Specifications: Experience working with garment specifications.
Language Skills: Multilingual (Spanish, French, Vietnamese, and/or Tagalog).


Education

A Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
