CORE NETWORKING-ROUTING & SWITCHING - CISCO
We are seeking an experienced L2/L3 Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our network infrastructure. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues across a range of technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
Configuration & Maintenance: Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls etc) to ensure optimal performance.
Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, documentation, and operational procedures.
Utilize monitoring tools to assess network performance and implement enhancements as needed.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including security and application teams, to support integrated solutions.
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Incident Management: Participate in incident response and problem management processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with at least 8 years in L2/L3 support roles.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and on routing and switching.
Proficiency in network hardware like Cisco, Arista and other softwares.
Experience with network security technologies, including Bluecoat, Palo Alto, Cisco ISE NAC, and IronPort WSA.
Proficiency in Arista technologies would be highly beneficial.
Also work experience on Bluecoat, Iron Port WSA and Cisco ISE would be a plus point
Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
Relevant Networking Certifications are preferred.
