Copy Editor/Proofreader needed for my Sweet Romance novel
Just over 10,000 words.
This is my first book and I'm excited! But, being inexperienced, I need help. I'm looking for an experienced but inexpensive proofreader/copy editor for my LM. I'd love to find someone who's fun to work with, knows how to give positive feedback, and can turn jobs around in a timely manner. The work will be done in Word and the editing has to be according to the CMOS. I'm offering $.0005/word for this project, or about $51 for a 10,275 word manuscript.
If you want to apply for this quick little job, I'd love to see a sample (just one page is okay) of your recent editing work. I also want to know how quickly you can do the job and a basic intro to your personal background. If we're a fit I will be able to offer you steady work in the future on longer projects. This may be my first work of fiction, but it won't be my last!
