Copy Editing & Proofreading of 53,000 word non-fiction manuscript
I am in search of an editor for my manuscript which is roughly 53,000 words. The manuscript needs copy editing services and proofreading to finalize it afterwards. The book is a non-fiction self help book and will be self published in print and an ebook. The style of writing is intentionally conversational and relaxed like an unorthodox coach both teaching their student while telling their own story or testimony. The ideal candidate needs to have experience in this field of editing with proof of jobs completed. It is my desire that we are aligned with the mission, purpose, tone, and audience to whom this book is written for so that it does not lose it's tone. My timeline for completion is 30-45 days. The manuscript has already undergone several edits, revisions, and proofs. I am looking for the final touches from a fresh set of experienced eyes.
