• Fast growing company with ample room for growth • Located in the Loop with a hybrid work model About Our Client Our client is undergoing significant digital transformation, and is seeking a seasoned Contract & Vendor Manager with deep expertise in the technology and software domain. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of vendor relationships negotiation to performance management and compliance-with a particular focus on software and IT services. Job Description • Vendor &ContractLifecycle Management: • Own end-to-end management of technology/software contracts-including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and renewing agreements (e.g., SaaS, IaaS, software licensing, IT services). • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (legal, IT, procurement, finance, etc.) and vendors, facilitating strong working relationships. • Sourcing &Onboarding: • Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate, select, and onboard vendors that align with business and technology objectives. • Risk & Compliance Oversight: • Ensure vendor compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including information security, privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and licensing standards. • Performance Management: • Establish SLAs and KPIs, conduct regular vendor performance reviews, and lead remediation efforts for underperformance or non-compliance. • Continuous Improvement: • Identify and implement process improvements for vendor governance, cost optimization, and contract standardization. The Successful Applicant Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in vendor and contract management, preferably in the technology/software sector. • Proven success in negotiating and managing SaaS, software licensing, and IT service agreements. • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and vendor risk frameworks. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels. • Experience working in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders. • Proficient in using tools such as contract management systems (e.g., Icertis, Coupa, Ariba) or similar platforms. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001) as they relate to technology vendors. • Legal or paralegal training is a plus. • Experience in vendor consolidation, cost-saving initiatives, or digital procurement transformation projects.
