Contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Chester, PA
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Chester, PA to hire a dedicated LPN/LVN for a full-time position in a special education setting for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to provide vital healthcare support to students in a nurturing and collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical care and support to students with special needs
Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and assist with health monitoring
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to ensure the well-being and safety of students
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with school district and state regulations
Qualifications:
Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Certification in CPR and First Aid (required)
At least one year of experience in a healthcare or school setting is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
