The Computer Operator II role involves monitoring computer systems to ensure smooth IT operations and performing troubleshooting tasks.ResponsibilitiesMonitoring of Lottery systems, Hosts, middleware, and applications by validating tool availability, verifying service health, and detecting, documenting, escalating, and tracking anomalies in a 24/7 operationConduct intermediate network monitoring system tools, validating service health and escalating when thresholds or errors occurMonitor daily production processes such as endโ€‘ofโ€‘day processing, system balancing, file transfers, report deliveries, maintenance windows, and change requests while documenting completionSupport software releases, data center failovers, disaster recovery tests, and other planned production events in collaboration with Operations Management and QACoordinate, fulfill, validate, and track internal and external customer requests while communicating status updates and clarifying requirements to ensure effective customer partnershipsDocument incident timelines, workarounds, and root causes using internal JIRA/IMO and Lottery incident tracking systemsSkillsA minimum of at least 1-2 years of related experience preferredBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience acceptedBenefits401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributionsHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife, accident, and disability insuranceTuition reimbursementPaid time offWellness programsIdentity theft insuranceCompany OverviewBrightstar Lottery is a global gaming company specializing in the design, manufacture, and marketing of electronic gaming.
